As per info given by HTC dealer in Ahmedabad it is yet to be launched and most probably it will be launched with Indian 4G (Band 40) support. If it do not support 4G then now it is useless buy. The recent 2G auction (liberalised spectrum) allows using 1800MHz 2G spectrum for 4G LTE and the participators can use that spectrum after November 2014 (the time old license of those spectrum ends). So yes, we may get more 4G LTE coverage by year end. Reg band40, Airtel is already providing 4G LTE in 4 or 5 cities now (but coverage is still spotty at best). i don't have much hope on RJio... Sir i got a call from dealer near by my factory and its officially launched here in ahmedabad with retail selling price of 23500/- with mrp of 23999/-.
