StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 Here Are A Few AT Commands For The LG-2030 Using MSM5105 Chipset. I Have Only Tested These On The LG-2030. Use These Commands Very Cautiously As They Might Cause Irrepairable Damage To The Phone Hardware As Well As Software. You Can In No Way Under Any Circumstances Hold Me Responsible For Any Damage Whatsoever Caused To Your Phone. They May Differ From Handset To Handest And Also According To The Software Version Used. I Tested These Commands By Typing Them In 'HyperTerminal' LG 2030 CDMA AT Command List (Note Suffix ? To Get The Current Status Or =? To Get Possbile Setting Values. Eg- AT$QCDMR? Or AT$QCDMR=?) Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 Normal modems use a set of ‘Attention Codes’ (known as AT commands) for normal operation.. These commands instructs the phone to do something specific, such as dialling a telephone number. We can control the mobile through these commands.. Such as send sms, retrieve certain settings etc.. The "AT" refers to getting the attention of your modem.

StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 It's Good To See That All Of You Liked My Post. At Least 2 Days Of My Hard Work's Not Gone Waste. You See, All Those AT$'QC' I.E. qualcomm Standard Types Are Not Documented By Qualcomm. So I Had To Write A Program To Send Random Character Combinations (4 Letter) After The Prefix AT$QCXXXX And Record All Those Which Did Not Return ERROR. Enough Of That... I Did All This Just To Find Out The SMS Codes But What I Discovered Was Nasty. Qualcomm Has Put The SMS Initialization Into Its BREW Protocol. So No Ones Coming Close To Sending SMS'es Any Time Soon.. Since BREW Documentation Costs Something Like 1 Crore Of Rupees. Anyways The Main Reason For This Post Is Because I Discovered Something Called An 'SMS Trigger'. Thats All I Know If Any One Knows Any Thing About It Please Post It Here. It Will Help Everyone. Anupam 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 hey guys, nice to read all of your msgs flowing here. RD2030 is brew enabled j2me handset....and brew SDK is freely downlaodable. however its free for development only in emulator. for actual deployment, you must apply for verisign IDs. ( cost $400) for a year, for 100 apps. all applications on a brew handset are digitally signed by this ID. i tried this with my RD2030. i downlaoded "air-attack" game from r-world.. so rd2030 keeps it in its memory... it created a new directory under /ams called "16" ( it could be any number) and downloads 2 files , a .jar, and a .jad file ( these are J2ME files). i created a new " hello world J2me application by teh same name and replaced it via BITPIM. then when i try running air attack, it tried to run my files..teh .JAD file is read properly...however teh jar fails to load.. i feel that is because, its not signed properly( brew-verisign IDs)...but i haven't given up on that...looks like i am going to keep my phone on cable all of this sunday...:-) cheers, anupam
