SMS reply says:

The 216.710 here is the prepaid balance and not the remaining of 100 MB from MobileNet49 plan.

So still no way to get correct usage i suppose ?

Activated Rs 49 pack by sending the necessary SMS. But connection available

in CDMA 1X only not HSIA. User name and password both 10 digit mobile number.

By sending BBAL mobile number to 53535 returning only main balance

and data balance as 0.00. Any suggestions for user name and password

for HSIA ??

My bad... I didnt notice the data balance issue as when I sent sms BBAL that time I had around Rs. 234 in main account which I misunderstood with the Data.

CC told to send sms Mbal to 55333. Result : There is no mobile broadband balance in your account.

As it is already mentioned, for 1X Speed Username/Password should be MDN/MDN. For EVDO speed, HSD Username/Password. So in order to get EVDO(HSIA) you need to configure HSD Username/password.

boss this is crazy, there has to be a way to know the data balance.

otherwise how will we ever realize the remaining balance.

it wouldnt be possible to differentiate if the last deduction was due to call or data. once the pack gets over.

it sits on your homescreen and calculates the data you have used so far. it least you ll know when you are reaching the limit.

Hi.....i am facing same problem....have got netconnect plan activated but while data transfer it shows 1X Speed and not EV......i am using Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos......i tried creating new APN with usernam & pwd as HSD but my data transfer stopped even at 1X.....plz tell me what all i need to fill for creating new APN so that it workd i get HSIA. I had activated couple of time EVDO by going to *222 though its very difficult to let them understand what you want.

also on airtel 3g i use on photon as it doesnt support ussd.

i found this wonderful app. which has great widget too.

it gives you live update of apps using your data and how much.

as well as day by day account of how much data used & left.

@Arun... I went to web world also...After trying with 2-3 webworld finally found one fellow in Panvel who understands EVDO and all... but now problem is he searched in his system everywhere in front of me but could not get the EVDO request option...

can anyone help??... The guy is ready to do if we suggest him where to find that...

If you are looking for activation of EVDO I would suggest calling up 198 rather than *222 or *333. Tell them you want to request for activation of EVDO. I had my EVDO activated by calling up 198 so why dont you try that?

there is an option of EVDO Activation in "icare" (crm s/w for reliance).

Finally after 1 year I am able to use EVDO on my mobile.... Many thanks to Parin who helped me as always he. Also wants to thanks Rajan ji for his concern.

After this all here n there experience I want to request gurus if there is any procedure they can suggest regarding Activation. It will be very helpful to us if we know whom to talk, what to ask... Or if people from different cities can tell us which webworld to go in their city for activation. As most of the webworld guys also dont understand what is EVDO also once we sell our handset again this problem is going to come....

Also mention the RSN of Mobile

Once the make this Case from any webworld EVDO will get activated in 2days

I dont have any personal Icare Experince but i know its a net connnect Related case which helps evdo activation
