nitink 279 Report post Posted May 5, 2012 maxx is quite expensive , abt 28 to 30k INR and only parin has it via ebay (33k)or directly from him(30k), tushar has quoted me 28k thou i will hv to wait for 10 days. i can spend upto 20 to 22k but more is out of question coz i will get bored of it within one year. i did purchase htc touch diamond officially from reliance for 25k and used it for 2 years but dont see myself keeping another cell for 2 yrs with the pace at which technology is growing and new phones are coming out. my current phone moto xt800 will be one year old later this month and works awesome but still i plan to change it soon. i dont see these big companies offering any good cdma phones in near future in india so am forced now to go for imported ones. S2 / photon are year old models and no point going for them. in short i am looking at rez (htc)vs raz(moto). Since evdo is not available in my city, I dont need data services. But this situation is faced by me only. Maxx is also out of my budget. What is the price for Droid razr ???? nitink 279 Report post Posted May 13, 2012 i would not buy a handset which does not expandable memory option. I ruled S2 out coz it was released a year ago and why not go for relative new and better handsets. since u dont wanna use evdo, razr should work well with the omh sim. wrt rezound, i found to be too bulky in comparison with razr thou it has a better screen. The beats audio effects is a bull**** gimmick for me. Battery is average in rezound, better in razr and awesome in razr maxx. maxx is pretty expensive in range of 23/24k for mint and with $ going haywire, the price may increase too. i went for the droid razr and am getting a mint with box for 19k. only one downside of droid razr is that it does not have a fm radio. Parin and Tushar here also have it but i purchased it from gaurav coz he offered me the best price. I am currently using a moto so am aware how awesome their handsets are. nitink 279 Report post Posted June 6, 2012 got the razr yesterday and loving every bit of it. its like driving a Mercedes as compared to an alto. its speedy, zaapier with awesome looks. thou the width needs a little time to adjust in ur hand. power button is on the right side above the volume keys which am yet to get used to since my xt800 had them on top while volume keys were on left side. yet to test all features but i feel for 19k it was worth the money. i have a postpaid connection so cannot comment on the ussd issues you mentioned. will put up my official XT800 on sale in a couple of days.
