Install all required drivers for the handset with KIES and the device should be detected properly. 2. Flash stock Rom (odin included) 3. Switch off and power on with Power+Vol UP for 10 seconds. 4.Flash i-509 CWM recovery.rar (after rar extraction) 5.Your handset is now rooted and flashed with recovery. >Flash this only if you want to install custom ROm 4.0.3 ICS for Samsung Galaxy Y CDMA 6. Connect internet and update Superuser on your handset from Google play 7. Boot into recovery, go to update.zip and select deodexed.zip, flash it 8. Again boot into recovery, select algrida_advanced.zip and flash it 9. First boot may take a while to settle down You have successfully flashed your handset. Once downloaded, save the downloaded file on the SDcard installed on your handset. 3. Switch off your device and power on with power +vol UP continously till the Samsung logo remains 4. Select 'apply update from SDcard' select update_cdma.zip that you downloaded by volume up/dwn keys, flash it. 5. Reboot 6. Check if SuperUser is installed. Your handset is now rooted. Again Thanks! 1st process is complicated for me. So just tried 2nd process. But it didn't rooted. And super user also not installed.
