Connection Speed Drops To 0 Kbps...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I purchased a nokia 2112 four days ago. The problem is that I cannot keep it up and running for more than say 10 minutes.

After some time the speed just drops to zero. I first thought its a dormancy problem and tried many methods like ping and other tools to keep the connection alive, but nothing works.

The connection is active as it dosent say that it has been disconnected, but the speed is zero and even after I try to browse, It just dosent seem to recover. I have to disconnect and then connect again.

Yesterday however, I was just browsing. Then it worked for 40 mins but as I tried to download a 7 mb attachment from my gmail account, after like 10 mins or so it droppen to zero again.(I was not able to download it)

please help. I have the unlimited freedom plan. I am unable to use my connection.

Thanks :P

Hi, thanks for replying.

How did they solve? Anyways...I've filed a complaint at rworld. They said they'll solve it within 48 hours. Lets see...

Thanks again.

I too have a problem similar to this. Firstly, my phone (FWP) keeps going out of service area and then back again when I surf the net. I have to restart my system everytime it happens.

Secondly, the speed is getting to be slower day by day. I think even I should go to WebWorld and lodge a complaint. Lets see if it gets solved.
