volstagg 24 Report post Posted May 31, 2012 hi guys. i'm having a weird problem with tata indicom. a couple of months back when i activated 1x on my phone,i had downloaded app-it. its a kind of an app that lets you use facebook,gmail,twitter etc. after using 1x for a month i unsubscribed from the pack but still i was being charges rs 15 every month for app-it. i also uninstalled the app-it from tata zone.i made numerous calls to the CC and they told me to dial 155223 to deactivate any of my subscriptions.i did the same but once again the deduction has happened. finally i made a complaint yesterday saying that even after unsubscribing many times,i'm being charged for a service i'm not using. today they got back to me saying once i downloaded the app,i shall be charged for it even if i uninstall it from my phone. they said the CC cannot do anything from their side and that i have to visit a tata indicom office to get this problem sorted. has anyone faced this problem before? does anyone know how to get rid of this stupid app-it? any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
