KapilAgrawal 340 Report post Posted June 2, 2012 The only reason of handset Bricking while OTA is updated bootloader (hboot), Revolutionary S-OFF does not work with this version. This update either won't install or you will end up with Which Screen & HTC. I have just downloaded this update, But have not tried flashing it since I do not have any handset with me... KapilAgrawal 340 Report post Posted June 2, 2012 (edited) Phones S-OFF with Revolutionary will not work. Try http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader to S-OFF your phone. If you are already Rooted using Revolutionary on 0.97. Do S-ON (Going back to Froyo, Flashing hboot manually & back to GB with hboot 0.98). Than use http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader method. drmadhu 87 Report post Posted June 4, 2012 I am flash this files (PG32IMG_VIVO_CT_ICS_35_S_HTCCN_CHS_CT_4.08.1401.3_Radio_20.31W.30.0826U_1.23.30.0509_NV_CT_2.71_release_264212_signed.zip) with revolutionary s-0ff and I am stuck on white htc screen after some time wait and I am stuck on htc RED triangle, So do not install this zip, till then guru flash lite on this. kundalus 24 Report post Posted June 4, 2012 VIjaybhai, to have this OTA u need to go to froyo-->GB-->then flash chinese rom and after that the OTA files(because there is some scripting in the lastest OTA which id not compatible with S-off). but it will be advised to stay away till devs try and modify the rom for s-off. Also the rom mentioned above is for vivo aka IncS, so not sure if it will work. U may try to flash GB via bootloader to roll back to old configuration. I am search for revert to s on and stockboot , but this is very hard process and chance to brick The phone, Please kapilji provide step by step process for that. kundalus 24 Report post Posted June 4, 2012 vijaybhai, in order to revert to stock u need to go back to froyo for s-on. Flash froyo. After that u need to manually push the bootloader into the file by using unroot & vivow package zips. u can easily find the files & procedure on internet. i have all those files with me at home. let me know if u need any help in finding files. can help u.
