sadanand.sapkal 52 Report post Posted June 26, 2012 Dear All, Recently I bought Samsung Google Nexus S 4G CDMA. After activation of EVDO, overall I am getting good net speed with EVDO signals. But in my residing area the EVDO signals are very weak and most of the time I am getting 1x Signals only. Its really disappointing when I use net with 1x signals. I have complained this to rcom also but there was no improvement in evdo signals except the promises from customer care. I request all the experienced members here to suggest me any remedy to boost the EVDO Signals within my residence as I am not expecting much from reliance customer service regarding this issue. I am residing in Ambernath, Dist-Thane, Maharashtra. Awaiting some good remedies/solution to boost the evdo signals. Regards, Sadaband Sapkal

ami1 237 Report post Posted June 27, 2012 use this radio D720SPRLC1 from here: http://download.peteralfonso.com/crespo4g Install Rom manager from market first if you don't know how to flash ROM/Radios. You can also use this ROM: crespo4g_2012-06-09 from this page: http://download.peteralfonso.com/crespo4g/rom (its the last one on the page). Its quite good for NS4G. Anyone has any fix for the poor WiFi reception on Nexus ? Mine only works when in the same room as the router ! While iphone/laptop/BB all work in other rooms and even outside the house. sadanand.sapkal 52 Report post Posted June 27, 2012 Thanks KapilAgrawal & ami1 for suggestions, but I am a laymen in this field, so I don't think I will try these software things in my phone. I believe my seller has done the best while programming my number & net settings for my phone. I am thinking of some external remedies which can enhance my evdo signals. Pls share if anybody is having some external solution for increasing the reception if evdo signals. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
joshm 818 Report post Posted June 27, 2012 I believe, radio and firmware updates are your only and best bets. Everyone is a Noob when they do something for the first time, just go to appropriate xda forums an learn about updating and all in there. Will require just one hour for 3 days to get a simple idea an then all the rimweb community is there to help u. I dont have 0 clue about ur phone othereise i would have guided u. All the best From my utterly Fascinating I500 Fascinate :-)
sadanand.sapkal 52 Report post Posted June 27, 2012 Thanks jishm, Whatever you as well as KapilAgrawal & ami1 said is completely unknown things for me, but I think I should start exploring these software aspects now as using imported cdma phone will always require such kind of knowledge in future also. Will request support regarding this if required. Thanks all for guidance. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
