hiteshkkk1 327 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 I doubt it's cost effectiveness in this era of super low tariffs... One of my no. Is used continuously but still i don't cross it's bill 500 rs. It's TATA only n it's on some 1p/2s plan. At 30 ps min, to make bill of 899rs, usage should be around 3k mins. With 2sec pulse, this goes even more. Even with high usage, it would be difficult for many people to cross such high usage. Moreover, with stv in prepaid, they seem to be more cheaper like in Reliance197 stv gives 2000 r2r min n 700 other. So u have flexibility to recharge as needed n in 899 + tax i.e 1000 approx, we can recharge 197 5 times which will give 10000 min r2r n 3500 min other which is far more difficult to use for a normal person in a month.Now if we just consider r2 other 3500 min, it comes to 2hrs daily. All in all, i don't find anything attractive in plan unless u have lot of std calling where it is unique. My std is not more than 100rs pm. krishna.tungal 7 Report post Posted July 6, 2012 The above plan is very good for business people who make frequent all over India, people who hardly make calls it is very costly and one this attractive in this is you can call to any number not only Tata to Tata, its good plan for heavy users, hope reliance too come up with this kind of plan with little bit lesser price..... if you are very heavy caller, go for this plan... Major advt is in roaming - incoming/outgoing to any network is also free--unlimited (as long as u r in their network) unlimited sms in roaming also free ! add 50 -- get 2gb gprs free per month (some small 3g plan is also there) afaik--no one gives such a plan. but getting their network signal is pain in the a.. The 899 plan in Karnataka has UnLimited FREE roaming incoming and also OUTGOING FREE (onnet roaming)... Further unLimited FREE Local/STD/Roaming SMS... Local and std calls these days are around 30 paise so for majority of people phone bill above of 500-600 is not likely, any one who will take this plan will sure use it very well.
