My requirement is to get an existing prepaid number in that handset. *229 and *228 ask to contact the CC, Somehow, non sim based handsets are not supported by CC and Web world can only issue a 'New' postpaid connection. There was a post paid connection active a more than couple of months back but as the handset got into repairs and took longer time to get back, the number was transferred i another handset. since then lying idle. copperco2 24 Report post Posted July 29, 2012 After looking for a solution, i found the problem. It seems when the number got transferred from this handset to another one, the update for motorola in the system was made as 'DOA'. That is the problem. Now, the solution to for a start is to release the handset. Another problem, it does not have RSN but ESN and as somebody puts it from RIM CC that the ESN is not long enough to be the "ESN"..
