sgiitk 32 Report post Posted August 7, 2012 I am on the lookout for using my Tata Photon Plus USB unit as a hub. I have been lookign around and come across some units which may serve the purpose like Asus Asus WL 330N, iBall Baton, and more recently a TP Link unit. While the Asus is about Rs.2700, the iball (with a battery) at Rs.3300 the TP Link is only 1800. Any suggestions / experience with these.

sgiitk 32 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 Folks - can you suggest some units with a battery and if possible the prices. I am worried about the switching from Mains to UPS and vice versa, and also I may be in a place without proper Inverer UPS's being available.

I am using Huawei E585 for last 4-5 months and very satisfied with it. It is GSM model though.
sgiitk 32 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 @MGDELHI; It looks like a good product from the No.2 manufacturer of Nerworking products. The unit replaces the Dongle and want you to put in a SIM card! However, it is not what I want. I want something to take the USB Dongle (GSM or CDMA) and then make it usable by mutliple systems at the same time.
