Guys try out the terus satus rom . FI27. Excellent battery backup no glitches. All cool, battery is also damn good.

and yes you can flash the FI03 no data file like before.

FI27 aint final as yet, once its done we ll try out some more options.

the rom has to be deodexed for that

i have used Tersus, its decent but i hate the annoying issue of not being able to select the google services i want to sync when i add a gmail account, its the general issue in FI27

I have 8 google accounts and need all of them so 8 acc all syncing at the same time with all google services , kicks the hell out of the battery

How to Install.

For those who are on safe recovery atm , that is if you are on galaxy rom or clean blue rom or stock FI03 or FI27 stock rooted with safe kernel and recovery

1.. backup your current ROM with nandroid and to make it full proof use superbackup app to backup apps , sms , call logs , and contacts.

2.. store all above files on sd card

3.. I am assuming you are on a safe recovery ( considering you have followed the procedures in OP to flash the safe recovery )

4.. wipe phone using calk's format all

5.. flash ROM

4.. flash the Kernel

5..Reboot and profit

6.. flash the Clean blue theme after again gouing into recovery profit

For Those who are on any stock rooted Rom without ant safe recovery ( FI03 or FI27 )

Installation and steps of usage.

1... download the above mentioned tar version of the FI27 kernel ( if u are on stock rooted FI27 ) or Fi03 tar version ( if you are on FI03 ROM )

2.. download and install file 2 aka MOBILE ODIN

PART 1

4..1) Open Mobile Odin.

2) Select "Open File".

3) Select either "Internal SD-card" or "External SD-card" (depending on where you saved the TAR file you downloaded in step one).

4) Browse to the TAR file.

5) Select "Flash firmware".

6) Select "Continue".

7) Select "Check" to verify the MD5 signature.

The phone will now automatically reboot. This will take slightly longer than usual, this is normal.

once booted there will be a screen showing updation of xxx apps and stuff and once all is finished you will be on a FI03 stock kernel but with a very very safe CWM recovery , thru which one can easily flash stuff without the fear of bricking.

you can boot into the recovery by switching off the phone

and then pressing Vol Up + POWER button simultaneously till samsung galaxy logo appears

after that follow the procedure mentioned at the top

well i am pretty choosy , i dont like messups upfront and thats the one thing i do as soon as i install a ROM , u are right it can be selected later , but i never needed to do that , any crap happen ing even during the setup of a ROM is a big NO GO for me., tried the FI27 stock it was great but that one thing kept playing on me and i ultimately moved down.

donno thats why never ran any custom FI27 for more than a few minutes.

I love my heavily modded clen blue with FI27 radio and kernel , have done my own tweaking and debloating after using placebo , and bare rom scripts
