abhi182 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 I haven't faced this issue, but see if this helps.... Assuming u have a 3rd party cable, Since 2130 has a native serial connectivity so all USB cables for 2130 have a Serial to COM emulation chip inside (normally PL2303 in 3rd party cables) Since ur OS ois not detecting a new port, i guess the drivers u r using are not correct... Go to Profilic's website...www.profilic.com.tw (or similar, do a google if this doesn't work) and search for PL2303 (USB-serial converter) chip drivers for OS-X...use them and see if it works...do post ur findings too

abhi182 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2005 me Thinks u r either not enetering the UID PW correctly (93xxx format and not 093....) Also, back to the basics, did u give the Reliance guys a call to get your R-Connect activated...the old method (dialing *412 or whatever that no was) doesn't workl any longer and you need to call up the helpline number to get this done
