saurav123 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 i'm unable to install "samsung driver" under win98 and winXP. my pc is able to install all hardware like CDMA modem, usb composite drive. but fails to install samsung modem driver! it always gives message "modem driver instalation failed please try again" but it works fine under win2000. i've also downloaded seperate driver for win98 and winXP from relianceifo website. but it also fails............... i'm using samsung N-191 cdma phone.. plzzzzzz help me >>>>>>> saurav from patna Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

To install R-connect software first run Setup without plug phone into PC. and when setup ask to connect phone to PC then only u have to do that. If u connect phone before setup ask then Damm windows Or Damm setup can create problem. In WinXP u can measure this by "Update Driver" which u will find Driver TAB of samsung modem device in "Device manager" Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Couldn't install Rconnect for FWP (LG LSP-340E) in win 98SE ( same error as you got ) but worked in XP Did you check http://www.rimweb.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2241 ? Din 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 (edited) . ok , I could solve it by reinstalling win 98 . May not b the right way , but it worked . Didn't format , just installed over the existing OS .
