Android: Get MSL instantly by Terminal emulator on device

I am posting this as a part of learning for the noob, as read on most forums it may not be morally correct to trouble the seller lifelong for small little help.This is a new way out for instantly fetching MSL without any hassle especially when we have forgotten the MSL (SPC) or is locked by the carrier. I have attached the apk file as a part of resource,

The command:

# getprop.ril.MSL (sometimes even without $ or #)

"xxxxxx"

answer is the the six digit xxxxxx MSL (SPC).

You got an HTC phone which is carrier locked or an imported one, you need to zero the MSL. There are many more features useful to the developers on this forum.This is an alternative painless process. Just download rev-skills and install. I am attaching a tutorial file made by my team mate.

does this method works for both rooted / non rooted phone.

rev-skills will work on rooted and non-rooted protected S-on HTC phones. It has NAM, HDR and much more base+radio engineering components.

I did as mentioned above but did not work for me. Am I doing something wrong
