aankush 62 Report post Posted October 21, 2012 (edited) I had sold the handset to Rupesh. Finally I got one LG Marquee (on a testing number) with me with EVDO working successfully. Image attached Follow these instructions to get EVDO on your Marquee... I also herd that these settings also work with LG Viper with an additional step which I am not aware of. NV-items_reader_writer: http://www.cdma-ware...ader_writer.rar 1. Disable your antivirus program, download extract and install NV-items_reader_writer 2. Select the correct COM Port, click Connect and Read the Range(Dec) 39939-39939 and save it to a file. 3. Make a copy of this file for backup in case you want to change it back. 4. Open the file and change the values to all zero and save it. See Example: [NV items] [Complete items - 1, Items size - 128] 39939 (0x9C03) - OK 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 5. Click the Write button and select the file with all zero values and exit the program. If it prompts you to restart the phone, select OK/Yes. 6. Re-flash the Reliance data dump file with CDMA WS and you should be good to go. 7. Enable your anti-virus. This was helped by a member on our forum. Please help. HIREN Hiren,, Copy the above nc item given by Ankush in a notepad and try writing it using NV_read_Write Tool (any other tool like CDMA WS or DFS will not help and your 1x will also go). after doing so write the dump again. May be that should help.. that is how I also solved my problem.

aankush 62 Report post Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) @Rupesh, I herd that it is applicable for most of the LG handsets. As of now I can say that it is tested on LG Optimus S and LG Marquee (tested on our forum) If any other member has tried it on other LG handsets, please give inputs... rcdoma 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2013 Astalavista, I saw your PM and was going to suggest you to try changing NV item 39939 to all zeros like above. Sorry to hear that this didn't work with your LG Revolution. Does anyone else on here have EVDO working on the LG Revolution?
