Requirement : ICS VRLF2 , root , ES file explorer , HiAPN Global. Process: install file explorer & hiAPN start hiAPN - click on "Click to Backup APNs" goto File explorer - HiDroid_Net - HiAPN- here u found one xml file "apnlist_backup.xml" open xml file with ESNote Editor- & edit 1st line <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' standalone='yes' ?><apns><apn name="bsnl" numeric="310004" mcc="404" mnc="066" apn="bsnlnet" u can also replaced with attached xml file. again start hiAPN - click to restore APNs- reboot ur phone after 15-30 mnt u'll get data icon 3g/H+ on notification area. raysmanindi 4 Report post Posted November 19, 2012 I have the Latest New Model Of Verizon S-3, i followed Javed Steps and it worked , I have been using it for 3 days without any problem.I feel the settings are holding because we are hard-writing the APN through EF explorer and restoring the backup. APN name anything to whichever service provider you are hooked on to. 2. Numeric should be MCC+MNC ,Assuming it for Airtel karnataka : MCC is 404 and MNC is 045 so numeric becomes 404045. i have tried it and the signal strength for data is very good. 3. Thanks brother , i have no idea about MCC & MNC for other place. i gave u BSNL as example. For CDMA user :: TATA Docomo & MTS tested data working on SIM mode, no need to program for both. Download i747 ics rom available on xda without radio. Again, wuthout radio. And flash ion recovery. Bang, u have a gsm working perfectly fine. But just rmmbr not to update in future via ota. Still have used gsm for some calls and havent tried data though. Did auto select apn via hiapn. In settings and mobile network it shows idea internet.
