Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted April 10, 2005 Airplane ModeFor use in air planes i guess Airplane Mode The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) bans the use of cell phones on airplanes because of worries that calls could interfere with a plane's navigation system. Cell phones have to be connected to a wireless network to do anything, even if it has nothing to do with making a call. So a person simply playing a game or looking up an e-mail address stored on a cell phone could receive a phone call, and that would violate the FAA ban. Airplane mode lets someone use a phone on an aircraft. If a phone is in Airplane Mode, then the software on phone will shut down the part of the phone that sends and receives telephone calls. When in airplane mode, the phone will flash an on-screen message reading "Phone Is Off."

ani_meher 42 Report post Posted April 24, 2005 (edited) Yesterday I went to a shop with my friend to buy a Samsung slim. There the shop-owner was selling this 2330 ar Rs 2000. Frankly, it looked much better than Slim. He didn't show me the working piece, the piece he showed me was OFF. Hope it's display is good, unlike Slim, which shows only 2 lines of SMS at a time. Also, possibility of downloading ringtones and pictures by SMS makes it a good buy. And, quite contrary to the comment above, the cell DOES look seem as same, if not a bit smaller in size, as the Slim. Overall, I think its a good cell, and if ur budget is tight, then u can seriously consider this cell in place of Slim. deepu 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 One of my friend bought it yesterday for Rs. 2000. The display is not good and shows only two lines of text for SMS. Everything else looks ok for a plain vanila phone. But I do not think that the price of Rs. 2000 is justified since you can get a samsung slim for less than Rs. 1500!!! deepu 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2005 No R-World and R-Connect is there. Even for 2K the phone is not worth it when you can get samsung slim for 1500 and also with just 2 readable lines...
Chirag 5 Report post Posted May 7, 2005 The phone is available for as low as 1900 bucks. its a Very light phone. Smaller in size than the SLIM or 2230. Looks good. But the display is a bit creepy. This phone wil surely give SLIM a run for its money, though!
