I've been thinking of getting the latest superphone Sprint branded LG optimus G from US. I wanted to know if anyone of our estimated gurus have already got their hands on it and flashed it with RCDMA service ? If yes, is it a simple straightforward process or are there any complications ? I want to share here my immediate observation about this handset as below--- +Positive things as per me: + It's very smooth in touch as well as quick in operations with 2 gb RAM and 32 gb Internal Memory + It's really slim, compact and light for the given 4.7 inches display + Having less number of inbuilt apps + Default SMS app is capable of sending group sms for Upto 40 contacts at a time + Quick memo function available which I find a unique way of noting down on call info and putting some text on photos, pictures etc + File Sharing function seems good thru wifi (though I have not utilised it so far) + Display brightness it's good even at 50% Brightness level -Improvement areas as per me: - Camera flash Auto function does not perform the way it should be. Also the camera quality is not upto the mark for 13 mp camera - Any picture seen by zooming is really disappointing in terms of sharpness quality of the picture - My handset is getting hot when continuously used online - Not able to update it above OS 4.1.2, every time I got error when tried - For me battery does not last for the day when data connection is always on Friends please share your views and also suggest solutions (if any) for my improvement area issues. The front lower screen also broken and navigation keys are not working. Using it only through Pie. The camera is total disappointment, it is worse than galaxy nexus 5 MP. Suddenly the display with Small Square Black Spot appears and the handset again gets normal when I touch the screen. Please see the enclosed screen shot and guide why its happening... I purchased the handset and got it activated on reliance cdma from a guy on ebay. Recently my mobile got an system error which deleted the complete setting and spn number. I contacted the guy in lg service centre which helped by restoring the roms on it. Now I am getting reliance network on my handset but unable to make call. I tried contacting the guy on ebay but he is not responding. As per the recentpost on rimweb, I observed that new imported mobile cannot be activated on reliance cdma.
