Please suggest CDMA Handset for Reliance with max budget Rs.8-9K

Recommended Posts

Hi Friends,

Please suggest a CDMA Handset for my Dad to use on Reliance.

My Budget is max 8-9k and the Primary requirement is Unlimited Contacts and Good Battery Backup.

Data working on it is preferable.

He was using a BB 8130 till now but that went Dead yesterday.

I am confused whether to go for another Blackberry or an Android Handset.

He also uses an iPhone 4S on GSM so it is preferred that the suggested phone should not be big in size because he would not like to carry two big phones.

I highly appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks,

My father has been using a Galaxy Y CDMA from the past three months now. He hasn't had any complaints against it. Has been giving good battery backup of 2-3 days with normal usage. Also it can have EVDO activated on it to get good internet speeds on it.

Galaxy Y CDMA is a good option as suggested.. And it would be comfortable for him as it is small in size..

Thanks Dhruv and Vaibhav for suggesting Galaxy Y CDMA.Primo Duos is also an option as suggested by aalokbhai in one of the other threads.

Honestly, I am not too fond of the kind of Touchscreen and Displays of Galaxy Y Series as I personally use one Galaxy Y Pro Duos GT-B5512 for GSM use.

Any other options in imported handsets which can be considered so that I can have something to compare with?

There are HTC One V CDMA handsets being sold on ebay. You could consider that too as the One V is a very good device.

Also backberry is planning to launch new devices soon. But not too sure if they would fall in ur given budget.

HTC One V is possible to program on reliance? Any idea if any of the reputed sellers have it.Viper and Incredible are also very good options.

HTC One V can be programmed for Reliance but don't think any reputed sellers have it. Also consider Samsung Fascinate. Now with official cyanogenmod 10.1 support, this is one very good device. Very lightweight, ideal screen size.
