Please suggest 4" phone with S3 features?

Recommended Posts

S3 is the current best Android phone now considering various aspects. Only the screen size is big for users like me, who use the phone for voice and SMS often and for other uses less.

Do we have an Android phone with S3 features and screen size 4"?

The best features of S3 are,

* Good looks - Slim and not so heavy

* very good performance - good processor and high ram

* good screen quality

* Excellent battery back up

* Android ( of course IPhone 5 has all the above and 4" screen, but ridiculously priced)

Do we have any GSM phone with above specs and 4" screen?

Thanks all for your suggestions.

S3 Mini - Processor is not a big problem. They have reduced the battery capacity, no noise cancellation which will definitely affect call quality. Like this many features seem to be missing. I do not want the features to be trimmed down. Only the size I want to trim.

How about Motorola Razr M?

I think people would find it easier to reply if you can indicate your budget too. Else you would end up with suggestions and not really be able to make sense out of them

Rahul

Leave aside your 4" limit and opt for Motorola Droid Razr Maxx.

Though 4.3" (Very manageable), it is THE best phone for all the other requirements you mentioned as of today.

One thing I wanted to share regarding Battery backup.

Right now I am using Galaxy Nexus CDMA. Everyone who is using this phone knows how great this phone is except battery backup. But I have no problems at all with battery and I never search for charging points. I have an extra battery charger kit like this one http://in.mobilefun.com/35104-genuine-samsung-galaxy-s3-extra-battery-kit---eb-h1g6llegstd.htm

So always I charge my batteries in this extra charger and have the extra battery when I go out. So complete peace of mind to play with your phone.

What about that phone called Meizu MX dual core. If you can go for Chinese phone then this will be best bet for you. This has everything you need.

Hi Pasumark, how about the heating issues with GNex ?

Im having loads of other issues..

The handset gets heated up only when EVDO is on. Other than that I hv no issues. I am fully satisfied with the performance of the handset as I hv solved the only problem - battery, by having an extra battery charging kit. I hv to move to gsm anytime. Due to this handset I am still dragging in RCDMA.

What issues are you facing?

My screen sometimes comes alive despite being on standby..

Alarm doesn't work..

Recently my phone started boiling while I was travelling interstate. Was it due to network search (without data) or the alarm feature which I rarely turn on, no clue..

I shall anyways call u to check on these..
