snorlax 319 Report post Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) Wow Hetal Bhai. Great news. Reliance has now really made data pack affordable. 2gb evdo for 199 is good. Just hope they do not compromise on their cdma network. One question though. How can we use ussd. It says yes for ussd. Any pointers? raju_a 31 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 Got this from webworld today. Its Mumbai circle and sadly for prepaid. Read the Plan for Rs94
rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 ^ ^ ^ Are they changing Rs 94 Plan Validity from 1GB Data per month for 6 month TO 6GB Data Valid for 180 Days? Will they allow recharging again prior to 180 days if your 6GB Quota is over earlier? The brochure seems to suggest so. If Yes, this will be the most awesome DATA plan. raju_a 31 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 @Rajanbhai, I am given to understand from WebWorld guys that if you exhaust 6GB before 6 months you can recharge it. They said Rs94 for 6GB is max. But it is only for Mumbai circle as mentioned and that too for PrePaid. They have not mentioned the speed anywhere, whether it is 1x/HSD. But guys at WW say it is HSD where ever available else 1x. Which i guess too hard to believe. So i would request if anyone can throw some light on this.
snorlax 319 Report post Posted February 8, 2013 reliance cannot control if the user is using 1x or evdo. So the ww is right in this regard as far as my knowledge goes.

inception 75 Report post Posted February 9, 2013 @Kanga if you think only Rcom has such no-logic plans, MTS also has some. 1.5GB for Rs 402 (on their webportal), 1GB+UL1x+free SMS for Rs 246 (as the plan shared by MTS spokesperson), and a new plan STV195 offers 1GB evdo data+ 100 voice minutes. MTS spokesperson informed that STV195 only for HTC pulse users, but the sms was sent to imported handset/mtag users too.

Just see what they offer in the following two recharges and tell me who will go for Rs. 225 recharge instead of Rs. 202? This is not the only anomaly. There are more such examples.
