Vinod Nayak 443 Report post Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) The Wi-Fi hotspot is only on Sprint activated phones. For phones which are not activated by Sprint, you have to enable it manually. Right now even if you enable it under notification and main menu, it won't work. Xda member who actually hard coded a MOD did manage to make it work for any SPH L720 does not have it anymore, but has agreed to code again for a donation. I have agreed. Just have to wait. Under Wi-Fi, switch the"Smart Mode" off. If this is on then it connects to all the Wi-Fi you have saved in your phone, even if you have switched it off. Asking this coz I m giving away this handset to someone expecting *228 to work for him post retaining the no.
