Facing problems with Penta T-pad IS709C tablet

Hi i just got a low cost penta tpad is709c tablet but i am already facing some problems so need help from gurus and users of this tablet.

1. till now i just charged tablet once and while charging display backlight was on whole time but display is blanck and there is no light indicator which shows tablet is charging so i am not able to understand when its fully recharged,

2. battery is powerful but when i connect my idea huawei data card battery is draining very very fast.

and i am not able to select 2g network.
