city02 63 Report post Posted April 15, 2013 did anyone go for this offer? http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/2013-04-11/news/38463398_1_buyback-scheme-galaxy-grand-note-ii when i went to reliance digital the offers by the wholesalers were so low that they were unable to meet the rs. 2 k resale min set by the distributor for this exchange offer. here are some examples: sharp airtyme [qwerty, flash, net, email, java os] = rs. 500 value exchange offer samsung corby txt b3210 = rs. 500 value exchange offer nokia e63 = rs. 1,500 value exchange offer iphone 3 = rs. 2,000 value exchange offer all handsets were in perfect working condition and scratchless. i would be happy to pay double these prices for the handsets. what about you? it seemed like aggressively low offers since the apple ads said ANY smartphone... rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted April 15, 2013 The Scheme is now extended till the end of this month. This is how it operates. Appleās distributors reimburse retailers Rs 5,000 for every phone sold under this scheme in which the dealer gives a minimum of Rs 7,000 off to buyers. The retailer then recoups the remaining Rs 2,000 and any profit on top of it by selling the old phone taken from the customer. Following is the list of eligible Smartphones. (Notice recently launched Blackberry Z10 which retails for Rs 36,000+ as eligible!!! That's what apple thinks of Blackberry!!!)

city02 63 Report post Posted April 16, 2013 Can we exchange our imported handset (CDMA) under this scheme ? Also, do they want / require any bills also ? or only working handset is sufficient for exchange? you can even go for handsets not in the list provided the wholesaler offers at least rs. 2 k as tradein value. they ask for bills but its not required, you just get a lower value. it must be in perfect working condition with all original accessories provided.
