It has 5.1 sound output through HDMI and SPDIF I want to connect audio to 5.1 speaker system like edifier 5000pro it has only 5.1 input no HDMI in or SPDIF in Can you please suggest a solution how to connect 5.1 connectivity to speakers Possible solution can be using 1.SPDIF to 5.1 convertor HDMI to 5.1 convertor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

HetalDP 947 Report post Posted April 17, 2013 @ramtech Your Receiver is useless then, as HDMI SPDIF Coaxial / Optical is must in 5.1 world Convertion will delay the Audio and you might have lipsync problem too + loss on edged of frequency ! I rather advise you to go for Better AVR BTW Videocon D2H only output 5.1 on Coaxial SPDIF and in HDMI if only gives Stereo ! so try to get any Good RCA Coaxial Cable for SPDIF output and compatible system for input Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
