Its actually for OG Razr XT912, running CM based ROM on another slot using safe-strap recovery... Or simply, in OG Razr XT912, GSM capabilities are allowed after ICS update (I used a patch to use it on GB and later on ICS and JB 4.1 no need for that patch). But for someone who wants latest Android version 4.3 or 4.2, they used to flash CM 10.1/10.2 based ROM (for 4.2/4.3) on another slot (first one is Stock ROM and since OG Razr BootLoader is STILL LOCKED encrypted, people have to use safestrap recovery and flash custom ROM on other slot). Since CM has main focus on CDMA Verizon, I GUESS the GSM capabilities are not unlocked or NOT enabled (to less the confusion) and to enable the same the patch has to be applied and then even call forward will work for GSM numbers too... IT IS CLEARLY NOT FOR Razr M or RazrHD which is completely different from XT912 the OG Droid Razr.... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

While everything else is working fine (including receiving SMS), I am not able to send sms using CDMA (have not tried GSM). The sending fails. I installed Go SMS pro and also changed the smsc number as given elsewhere on this forum but still no luck. I am able to send SMS to reliance commercial numbers starting with 5. What do I need to change in order to make SMS work? Also I would want to activate EVDO. I tried sending the SMS to 55444 but i got the error that the command was invalid or something. Any help? Now it automatically picks them as just prefix zero. Even on HTC cdma handsets this is not a pRoblem. Easily set in advanced call settings.
