Hi, I had the same issue after upgrading to kit kat 4.4.2. Simply, to try my luck, I went to reliance store a bought a new OMH sim for Rs 4/-. To my surprise when I inserted the new sim, I got an option to add APN. I created a new rcomnet apn and gave my mobile no. as username and password. After a few seconds I was connected to evdo network.
