sathishq 27 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 Personal I worked for AOC CRM project at initial a stage , they are very closely sharing R&D with Phillips.. There line-up is good and defect percentage is very less on panels comparatively with other brands. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk

That is whole problem before going for Sony and other brands. Any other model with 12DC power supply.
rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted May 24, 2014 ^ ^ ^ Instead of settling for inferior/no name brand tv only for DC input, you may consider using car power invertor which converts 12V DC to 220V AC. Lots of models available on ebay like this >> http://www.ebay.in/sch/i.html?_odkw=car+power+inverter+12v+dc+to+ac+220v&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1311.R1.TR10.TRC0.A0.H0.Xcar+power+inverter&_nkw=car+power+inverter&_sacat=0

KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted May 28, 2014 @ RM, thanks for your recommendation. How good is adata as compared to Seagate, wd etc. Price wise, performance wise, reliability, service? I am not very active here, so sorry if my query is like a noob one. Any good deals for 3 tb? This hdd is for my son who is going to US for higher studies in August. rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted May 28, 2014 ^ ^ ^ As i have said in one of my very old post, none of this portable HDD brands like A Data, Transcend, Dell and many others manufacture hard drive themselves. Drives are manufactured by only a handful brands like Seagate, WD, Toshiba. One of this is used by all so there is no question of comparing how good it is vis-a-vis Seagate & others. AFAIK the A Data Drive suggested uses Toshiba HDD. I have not used that drive personally but reviews all across are generally positive. I have given a link for 2TB in my earlier post for Rs 6,101 but incidentally now it is available for Rs 5,999 which seems to be the cheapest for a 2TB portable HDD of any brand. >> http://www.amazon.in/Adata-AHV620-Portable-External-Drive/dp/B00EIEY4OM/ref=sr_1_43?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1400923837&sr=1-43 Don't think there are deals for 3TB portable. I guess 3TB in portable is not even available. For someone interested in 1TB portable, it is available at a cracking price of Rs 3,450 >> http://www.flipkart.com/adata-hv620-2-5-inch-1-tb-external-hard-drive/p/itmdv9u5svycv3p9?pid=ACCDV9NSUMEBF7FX&otracker=from-search&srno=t_3&query=adata&ref=94882fdd-5e6d-46e7-bd80-532cb0252a06 But if your son is going to US & will stay there for a long time, why not buy it from there to have local warranty.

man-saturday 32 Report post Posted June 9, 2014 Thanks Dipan for the suggestion but I need a one ear model. Not over-head-headphone style. Both ear designs blocks out all other sounds :-( Wouldn't a model from Jabra or Plantronics be the way to go?

phonegeek 588 Report post Posted June 28, 2014 Suggestion required guys. Looking for 39-40" LED. No smart features required as I already have Chromecast. Full HD required Current input would be from Cable SD Box(will upgrade to HD later) and HD Movies streaming from Phone/Tab or with DLNA. I have eyes on Toshiba P2305 http://toshiba-india.com/cricketseries/products/CricketSeries-P2305-39 Had read very good reviews about this product. Also Toshiba offers 3 year warranty which none of the big names provides. Please pour in your suggestions
