APN Settings For Android Phones

Posting this topic to save time while adding different APN'sSettings. So, those who need can just put these settings to access your internet on your smart ANDROID phone

To add APN settings Go to Menu> Settings> Wireless & networks.

FOR IDEA

Now select “Mobile networks” and then “Access Point Names”.

Click “Menu” and then “New APN”.

Enter Name and APN (below).

Leave Username, Password and other entries blank.

Save and reboot.

i am not able set / connect 3g data plan of reliance cdma on SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 CDMA OMH MOBILE.

my data plan is active which i confirmed with *222

under setting >more settings> mobile networks> mobile data (ticked on) and >data roaming (ticked on ) but i don't see any data activity.

please help /advice

have your data subscription started?

are the driver and dashboard installed?

does your system detect the data card?

then check logs in dash board.

test a different sim in your data card.

test your data card in a different system.

check a different data card in your system.

you'll have enough diagnostic data to find out the problem.

i found out that fpr getting 3G on Relinace gsm in delhi ( no idea about other cities )

all you need to do is make a new APN and enter following

Name : Reliance Gsm
APN : rcomnet

thats it and save

Data works out of the box in electrify 2.

Whereas in my electrify 2 neither gsm and cdma were detected even after changing the mode. So i think it is one of the most unreliable phone and would suggest the prople to buy on their own risk from GEB.
