Or Download a data switch app from playstore like power toggles. If upon enabling that option inside settings, you don't get any data then you will have to do nv restore and revert back to stock mb1 with ODIN. Don't take ota after that. sasikanth8 2 Report post Posted August 20, 2013 Enabled mobile data in network settings, tried power toggles also. When i look in about device<< status it shows Mobile network state as Disconnected. How to do nv restore? I downloaded nv reader/writer Does mb1 means the official stock rom? ICS or JB does not matter right? While doing *228 activation i did not get the keypad hence activation is not done on my phone does it have to do anything with data?
joshm 818 Report post Posted August 20, 2013 Sorry I got confused, as if it's s3 usc thread. Data has been a problem with axiom. It works only when you will insert sim let it catch signals then do a favour tory reset Upon booting it will be working But as soon as you will do another restart you will lose data, so that's that's the catch. sasikanth8 2 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 Not working in jb
dr.faramroze 703 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 Hidden menu will not work on JB in Axiom and Stellar. adb reboot nvrestore and downgrade to R830VXALK1 stock 4.0.4. If it works its good luck, if not change the phone to NV mode, get the MEID registered and put a dummy non-working discarded gsm micro sim in the sim slot and 1xRTT and EvDo will work perfectly.

Please can dr.faramroze (or anyone) explain this in a noob freindly way. what is nv mode and how to change it?
dr.faramroze 703 Report post Posted August 23, 2013 (edited) You may require to take help of a CDMA developer from this forum. NV mode switching is done via CDMA tools available. NV mode handset works on the handset's MEID which is to be registered with someone's help here. It is done with a nominal charge and you are saved from data loss headache. CDMA NV programming is done on the chipset of the phone, it is highly reliable and more than 60% of US networks work on CDMA programmable handset mode. The con, though, is only if you tend to change your handset frequently. The following handsets work on NV programming mode (Sim less-phone number stored in the processor memory) and (4G SIM slot) both. They have a 4G LTE UICC SIM slot for high speed 4G services in USA but 1xRTT and EvDo services work on RUIM/SIM in some countries. 1. Verizon Samsung Galaxy Stellar i200 2.
