I am using Sprint Note 3 with Tata RUIM. Working fine with EVDO.

How to use Wifi Tether on stock NC5 ROM.

Is using custom ROM only way. If yes which ROM is most appropriate, closer to Stock.

Hey, will the RUIM work fine on 4.4.2? Do I have to flash any patched radio? Or simply changing it to ruim only mode will do the trick? Please let me know. Thanks.

Connect to wifi and install SPCutility.apk and get the spc. Program the handset normally on NV mode with an obsolete dump file. Also write MDN and MIN without AKEY. Reboot and see if it is on Reliance network. After this again send the spc and 16 digit password and make it RUIM if available and reboot again. Mobile data should start immediately upon reboot. If not, then root and flash engineering bootloader from Odin. Note3 Sprint N900P seems to be working on new and old and pre-cut OMH SIM cards.

And Yes on 4.4.2 - NC5 it is working fine.

Just root it and get rid of the annoying sprint activation and you are good to go.

U need to remake some files from system folder or u can simply delete them.. Google it u will get answers

FREEZE mind my words only FREEZE the Samsung DM service 1.7.52 using either TIBU PRO or some other app .

You need to be rooted for this .

Even if its Good ESN, they will only accept GSM unlock request if you have used the sprint connection for more than 90 days.

I do not have GSM requirements on the Note 3 so have never tried it. But I have a hint that two folder files namely Chameleon and some files in carrier/sys are changed. Solutions could be available on Chinese, Vietnamese or Ukrainian forums.

Get your msl/spc
Dial ##data#
Scroll to bottom and select more
Scroll to bottom and select lte apns
Add dun to apn type for both lte and ehrpd apn's
Profit

apn type field accepts csv so put no spaces

default,mms,dun

Do at your own risk.

My suggestion would be to not update to nh7 . The rom as such may have 4.4.4 structure ans a few bug fixes but the radio is proving to be a headache . People have complained lower evdo speed .

Decreased signal strength . Not just in the us but here in india as well.

I would stay away from nh7 baseband if I were you .

Your phone needs to be reprogrammed . Contact your seller . He should be able to do it easily .

I hope the firmware and baseband bit he are showing nh7 ?
