igloo 1 Report post Posted May 17, 2014 problem is too weak opposition
Deepak Shankar 79 Report post Posted May 17, 2014 Weak opposition or strong opposition wont matter here as a NDA govt opposition will oppose whatever BJP says so lesser trouble the better.I am more concerned about the development platform that has been promised.Till now it was all about Modi now elections over who will be the Ministers will they deliver or will there be infighting for posts and talks of vendetta and stuff is to be seen
Bablus 66 Report post Posted May 19, 2014 Best part is that, BJP has aquired 272 figure itself. Modi will be free from so many hassles because of conditional support from its alliances. Dont forget... they still dont majority in RS they have to depend on others for passing any resolution in RS!
sanju_barc 51 Report post Posted May 19, 2014 Ofcourese, ther is hurdle in RS for passing any bill, but its matter of 02 years. After that period BJP can send their own candidated in RS too.
Deepak Shankar 79 Report post Posted May 19, 2014 Vishal you have rightly pointed out that they dont have majority in Rajya Sabha given the current drubbing congress has had I dont think any party would want to sideline with congress at the moment to reject/oppose any govt policy so should not be a major cause of concern
ACS 130 Report post Posted May 19, 2014 Pretty happy with the overall result: * BJP got more than 272 which makes the government not only stable but also accountable. Nobody can give us 'coalition dharma' talk now.. * Hope AAP has learnt its lesson & makes peace with the media. Media can make or break any personality or political party.. Faster they learn, the better.. Apart from correcting their other blunders of course! * Congress deserved this massive defeat. Its a big lesson for the corrupt to take note of.. Improve on your corrupt practises or get caught, sooner or later. * Respect the voter's aspirations for a change & better governance.. But that doesn't mean we are made to blindly vote for an individual and overlook who's the local MP gonna be. For eg. In South Mumbai, ppl were 'being educated' that in order to vote for Modi, vote for the Shiv Sena candidate! (Alliance partner). Even Ananth Kumar in Bangalore was easily able to defeat Nandan Nilekani for the same reason. Hope, the Govt does well & the Indian voter also learns with time that local candidates (MLC/MLA/MP) also need to be accountable. ramtech 47 Report post Posted May 19, 2014 NOw parties will be more cautious with congress. They know their fate if they blindly support congress or if they oppose BJP for all senseless reasons like secularism
ACS 130 Report post Posted February 1, 2015 So, just over a week to go for Delhi elections.. Hope atleast the A team/B team argument has finally been put to rest.. The so-called exposure of Sangh elements like Kiran Bedi during the anti-corruption movement was a rude shock to many. If one can remember, she immediately warmed up to NaMo just before Lok Sabha elections & now this move.. However, the galaxy of over 100 MPs who have joined the campaign in 'support' of Kiran the gaffe Bedi is pretty amusing! ACS 130 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 Extremely jubilant with today's result. The humble AAP had profusely apologised to Delhi for their past strategic blunders & rightly so. Positivity has finally scored over negativity & this is a fresh change in Indian Politics. So... not a good day for gamblers today? Or was it a black list (with Ambanis in it) to be blamed for the crash yesterday?
ACS 130 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) Delhi culture will also change? "Jaanta nahi main kaun hoon? I'm a bloody AAM aadmi you Bhaajturd"! 67-3-0 are crazy figures! Edited February 10, 2015 by ACS
csmart 472 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 Delhi has too much liking for AAP. Lets see what he does now.. if he reduces power tariff by way of subsidy, then it will be the biggest blunder.
pasumark 51 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 If corruption is reduced, then we can really start to see some changes. Surely Kejriwal is the biggest hope in this front
