st_7 138 Report post Posted January 4, 2014 It works as it has been reported by other members on XDA, but as Hitesh ji said you have to be rooted to make any changes to the build.prop in the phone itself or to push modified build.prop to the phone from computer. That's a build prop change only, so if you mobile is bricked(most probably soft bricked like stuck on LG logo) then you can just flash factory files to it(or even push the original build.prop if you can), it will solve the probably. phonegeek 588 Report post Posted January 4, 2014 Yes, that No 5 EVDO PRL. I would advice everyone to take EFS backup using FreeGee app available on play store. Also, if someone messes up with the phone, they need to download the firmware which is around 2.1 GB file. So check your internet connection venturing out. Vinod Nayak 443 Report post Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) well actually im not feeling well since 2 days and at home, fever is coming and going. blood tests all ok doc says it might be viral. so got all the time in the world, was trying to solve my earlier problem "Unable to establish a wireless data connection" 1.2Gb done with downloading of stock firmware... another gb to go. was surfing XDA for my first problem thats when i bumped into this build.prop edit for GSM. made a mistake of editing on windows and saving that file into system. phone reboot stuck at LG screen and led glowing. phone boots to recovery and download. did a factory reset, no luck. VOLUP + POWER gives menu to HARDRESET, did that also no luck. just waiting for the firmware to download, thats the only hope now.
