sgiitk 32 Report post Posted February 18, 2014 Have ported from Reliance CDMA to Vodafone GSM today. Reason is that I was not getting data for over three months. Then dkaile tod me that old DAPO customers were specially blessed. Then my son docanurag reminded me that he also had similar issues. By then the request was in. So the port happened today. dkaile told me that I should change the data settings to GSM/UMTS. The port did take about 1-1/2 hours. This was a Hetal phone and is now a pucca GSM unit. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted February 18, 2014 Reliance EVDO is one the finest than any service provider I have seen in my area, gsm or cdma. Sanjay ji's issue is definitely area based. My wife had a DAPO number and had issue with data recently when she shifted to Verizon Note 2. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) Received Sense 6 update on my Sprint HTC One - Software status post the upgrade EVDO Speeds But the surprising thing is that my son's Moto G is giving 2.6 Mbps speeds compared to 2.1 Mbps on my HTC One!! My sons makes jokes of my phone that his 7K phone is better than my 30K phone. Moto G has a phenomenal radio. Lolz... Sense 6 is basically skin upgrade. Few good things I found were the Themes. Also Time Schjedule is now added to the Do not Disturb Feature which is very useful. vishalsheth 19 Report post Posted May 31, 2014 I'm on HTC one m7, android 4.4.2, HTC sense 6.0, software version 5.03.651.3. I stock rooted and unlocked gsm when I was on android 4.1.3. I loaded stock recovery to get OTA. Now I'm not rooted as su binary does not load. Also I checked with root checker and it said my phone is not rooted. Does this mean I'm on clean stock? It's been a 6-7 days since I've been using this phone. Rooted it, bootloader off, installed Viper Tom. Is there a way to disable auto activation of phone on sprint network after every boot? dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted February 7, 2015 Updated my M7 to Lollipop 5.0.2 Battery level suddenly dropped after update and battery level seemed to not be displaying properly. Was solved by a reboot and then recycling the battery (pressing power button+volume up button simultaneously for 30+ seconds) Seems OK for now. No effect on GSM unlock or Reliance CDMA settings. Phone working OK in both modes. M&7 got the Lollipop update before the M8!! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
