ruiner21 43 Report post Posted May 31, 2014 Need some help! i gave my moto g to a friend. Did a data wipe from recovery before giving. But my friend did a factory reset anyways later (I guess that wipes the reliance settings) and then also accepted the 1.3mb update that was available. The phone now turns ON and immediately turns OFF and boots into TWRP recovery, trying to flash the update, but fails everytime. When I try to boot into system, the phone again turns off and boots into recovery, and this goes on and on everytime. Please somebody tell me what to do as I have absolutely no idea how to proceed from here. I dont even have a backup to restore. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

aboy0110 1 Report post Posted June 1, 2014 I just got a new number activated on my Moto G. Tried the steps mentioned in the slides, but couldn't get data to work (even with 1G). Also whenever I enable data, the phone would randomly reboot. Initially the calling was fine when the data was disabled but later only I could hear the other person and they could not hear me. So thought of redoing the programming. I rewrote the SPC to 000000, but when I try to write the PRL (slide # 24), its asking to load the PRL file. Now from where can I get the PRL file? Or just download prl from programing soft post and any other post for prl (there are many), and use in while doing Nam programing. And if your phone is working fine for voice , start the tutorial from slide no 32. Random reboots are not normal for moto g. Kindly keep a check and inform you seller now only . he might help.
