Manoj Patel 18 Report post Posted March 14, 2014 Go take OTA from zv8 to zvA, everything goes normal until phone stared first time.. Screen was displaying Com. Android . phone has stopped continuously.. I was not able to even unlock the screen that fast that error was coming each time.. So perform hard reset and clear cache and everything come back to normal.. Root is there, unlock is working and Hotspot is working to.. The biggest difference I found between update is when we turn on data, on ZV8 for 3G network "h+"symbol coming and for 2G "E".. But now on for 3G and 2G I am seeing symbol "GSM".. Look at pictures.. Any way to get back to normal symbol.. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

Manoj Patel 18 Report post Posted March 14, 2014 Right now I am on ZVA... And that symbol change on ZVA.. Symbol was normal on ZV8 application and now it has shown as picture... Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
Vinod Nayak 443 Report post Posted March 14, 2014 You can't change it as the icons are upgraded in ZVA. Let it be. ZVA modem is slower compared with the ZV7/8 Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

KJ_Aranda 1 Report post Posted March 29, 2014 I has that problem too, i have a solution too. Do a factory reset, but don't do the normal way. 1- turn off your phone 2- enter to recovery (power + vol- until the mode recovery is activated) 3- do wipe in both option, first in factory reset and then in cache. The phone will reboot. I do that and my problem gone

Nick Keslar 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2014 Hey everyone. I am so confused and hope I did not screw anything up. I am rooted. I have total commander running. When I find my device, and go into the carrier folder, I attempt to right click the property folder and then click copy. When I do, a box pops up that says "download to" then I have the option to click OK, TREE, or Cancel. I typed carrier in the box, and root manager on the device made me accept it, but then nothing happened. I cant help but feel I am doing something wrong. I have been trying to understand this for hours and I am just stuck and stumped. I don't know where to go from here or what I am doing wrong
