How to enable DIAG mode in Sprint Note -3 ? I tried # # 3282 # and it asked me MSL code which entered. but after that no popup for enable DIAG mode. *Update* Got detected in DFS. and Send SPC also confirmed Unlocked. but changing it to RUIM and write it. vakharia 23 Report post Posted May 17, 2014 Just upgraded my dad's XT926 from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2. Reliance CDMA data has stopped working. So, there is something in Verizon's Kitkat which disables data on CDMA. Data on GSM works fine (Tata DoCoMo). I am also done permenet unlock but telephony.db file reverse back after reboot Sent from my XT907 On the moto RAZR m/HD ,when unlocking for gsm use, for some reason to get it to stick using radiocomm on your PC when doing the 8322 nv data change from 01 to 00, you have to repeat process twice b4 it will stick after reboot . recap: after entering radiocomm ,your phone connected ,you go threw the process then after clicking write to phone go right back threw a second time write 00 again then reboot phone . only after doing it twice will it stick only on RAZR xt907 M/HD Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Raddi 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2014 99% of people know how to change mode from NV to RUIM using DFS, This is for the rest 1% who don't know. Download DFS and install on PC. Phone Drivers I'm using a LG G2 LS980 Sprint CDMA model, so illustrating for the said model Know your SPL/MSL code: Dial ##443336772# Shows MSL code near the bottom of the screen, write it or memorize it. dfs2.png Put the phone into DIAG mode: Dial ##3424#, Enter SPC/MSL code and press ok. DFS1.png Select enable and press ok. Your phone is in DIAG mode. dfs3.png Enable Debug in Developer Options of the phone. If you do not have Developer Options under settings simple go to Settings/About Phone/Software Information under this tap on Build Number 10 times continuously and it will enable the Developer Options in your phone. Put the phone in Charge only Now that your phone is connected, Run DFS on PC & Select Ports marked in red. dfs4.png Select LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM16) -> this can be any number, its 16 in my case. dfs5.png Once the above port is selected it should it indicate like shown in pic below marked in red. Double click on LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM16) marked in yellow. dfs6.png If properly connected, it should look like its shown in red in the pic below. Enter your SPC/MSL in the SPC field marked in yellow and then press the SPC button. It should say Device Unlocked in the log window of DFS shown below marked in orange. dfs10.png Now select programming marked in blue and then select read in config marked in red. Select the Ruim Config marked in yellow, change it from NV_ONLY to RUIM_ONLY. dfs7.png Once the mode is changed from NV_ONLY to RUIM_ONLY as shown below marked in red, select write marked in yellow & finally select Reset at top right corner of DFS marked in pink. dfs9.png Your phone should reboot and if your phone is capable of taking a RUIM SIM, all features like voice sms and data should work at this time. I try to make my tutorials as noob friendly as possible, if you still have doubts or confused, don't hesitate to ask. Hi Vinod, I use MTS CDMA Network and a US imported LG G2 LS980 Sprint phone. Problem Facing : 1) Call Logs NOT WORKING (Primary Concern) !!! 2) Data NOT WORKING !! I have tried doing the RUIM Only changes and did not help as the setting in the handset was already RUIM only when I read the existing settings. Please suggest me something. NOTE: The MTS SIM I use is the one which I had received with the BASIC Handset, and when I inquired that with MTS they said its not a OMH SIM CARD. Rickin Menger 6 Report post Posted December 22, 2014 hi i am new to cdma but still tried everything which was possible. unlocked it it is unlocked i can use gsm vodafone every thing is fine. but no luck in cdma reliance. i have new regular card cut to micro sim. the handset is lg g flex (ls995) tried with dfs it is reading to ruim mode only still no luck it does not show any range. but if i tick in international cdma roaming it gets network and i am able to do first call that is only *228 can any one help ? the card is ok i feel because it is working in micromax. now i cannot resolve what is the problem is it sim card that is not suppportin or its programing? can any one please help? any one has working reliance on lg ls995?
