sanjay0501 35 Report post Posted April 11, 2014 Finally copied carrier folder in root of device, did not have any carrier folder. It works immediately and does not require reboot. Strange thing is once I reboot the carrier folder is deleted again and wifi tethering does not show under setting. Can it be cos of bloatware disabled on my phone,, though Have checked can't find anything connected to tethering. Deleted telephony DB .. network was already GSM/UMTS.. restarted the phone Now keep on getting error "Unfortunately process com.android.phone has stopped" ... not able to hook into any network ..
