Akhilesh Chowdary Bojedla 21 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 By cdmaworkshop: Step 1: open cdmaworkshop (in my case i used cdmaworkshop 2.7)and go to cave tab. Step2: Now in akey calulator section you will find 3 columbs namely dec,hex and esn. Step 3: Now enter 12345678901234567890 in dec column. Step 4: If you know the pesn of handset then put it directly in esn column. If you dont know pesn go to www.esnconverter.com and conver your hex or dec meid and you will get pesn there Step 5: now click on calc in checksum section and you will get a six digit number. Now your 26digit akey is ready and good to go Akey: 12345678901234567890 followed by 6 digit number you got from cdmaworkshop. Hope it helps. Thank you. ni0987 179 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 This will work. And sometimes, you have options within the phone to enter the Akey through programming menu. So you don't need low-level access for the handset through CW/DFS.

Akhilesh Chowdary Bojedla 21 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 @ni0987 This post is not about how to write akey to handset. This is about how to calculate dec akey for any particular meid. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

shreesh 406 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 The o/p posted common akey dec.unit. it can be changed from the person to person who registers the meid. In this case its 12345678901234567890 but in some cases it can be 1212121212.......etc So it is better to take akey from ur seller/meid registrator. Also make sure to get support of flashphone suppport inorder to eliminate this steps. Sent from my VS950 4G using Tapatalk
Akhilesh Chowdary Bojedla 21 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 Well in that case its just that you need to replace akey column with 121212.. Instead of 12345... And I'm afraid flashphone though a great software cannot flash many phones as of now. For example: cricket locked galaxy axiom, iphone etc,. shreesh 406 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 ^^^ well I just said that 12345678901234567890 is a common akey dec value while registering meid. It can be changed to others as well during registering ur meid. Even Flashphone doesnt support few phones its better to take akey from seller or meid registrator to avoid further confusion For ex:- If ur meid registrator has registered ur meid by using 1212121.... and u calculate it as 12345.....0123...0 then ur phone will not work. Apart from this great post Akhileshji to help out the newbies Note for others: Dont forget to ask akey from ur meid registrator or seller The akey decimal value may differ from ur seller or meid registrator. 12345678901234567890 akey dec.value is widely used so it is common (around 99% it is used). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk This post only explains you how to get 26digit akey from 20digit dec , or from hex. but problem was he was not knowing his original akey and none of default akey was working for him. in this case nothing is going to help , unless original person who did registration gives actual akey. he was lucky that his meid was supported by FF, other wise he need to contact original meid registration person.

Avichal123 5 Report post Posted April 15, 2014 I have an iPhone 4 from Verizon. I have programmed it to reliance and done everything. I have done the manual PRL change method. I am facing problems with Akey as I don't have the correct akey. I have tried 12345678901234567890 01234567890123456789 12121212121212121212 I am not able to contact the MEID Registerer. He is not contactable. My calls are getting disconnected and when called to the number from other phone it says "NOT REACHABLE/OUT OF COVERAGE AREA". So with research found its an akey problem. I have got the no. transferred via MDN Transfer and have done Manual NAM Programming. Maybe the FlashPhone Software can help or so. Can anyone please provide me. Please help.
