Akhilesh Chowdary Bojedla 21 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 Hi, In this post i would like to share a tip to solve ipad 'Not charging' issue when connected to some laptops or desktops. This issue arises mostly when you use old desktop or laptop. This is because they offer low voltage at usb ports than the new laptops and the ipad is designed to work with new generation laptops. Though your ipad says 'Not charging' it gets charged at very slow rate. Heres the solution how to fix it. You need to download following file first Direct link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByJKBrba4GJ6UmhaQkdMWXVLVlE/edit?usp=sharing Type ctrl+s to download from above link after opening it. Extract the zip file and install the software. After the installation is completed disconnect the ipad and connect it again after 5-10 seconds. The ipad should now say 'charging'.
