Connecting iPhone 4 CDMA to QPST

I've digged through online resources. The common solution is to use a SSH tool to create a virtual COM port on PC, then use CDMAworkshop or QPST to connect this COM. Here are my steps:

1) jailbreak my iphone 4, install OpenSSH.

2) run HW VSP3 - Virtual Serial Port on a windows XP machine

3) create a new COM port, using iphone's IP and port 22.

4) connect CDMAworkshop to that COM port.

5) connect is okay. however, 'read from phone' doesn't work.

I read posts from this forum before that people was successfully able to connect/read iphone CDMA.

so can someone shed some lights on this please? What have I done wrong or missing?
