In DFS Tools,setting HDR SCP force AT config to -> RevB_MFPA
and
[0] Sub2 PL <- enable
[1] EC CH <- enable
[2] EA CH <- enable

[4] Sub 3 RT <- enable
[5] Sub 1 RT <- enable
[6] Enh Idle <- enable
[7] Gen M-M <- enable
BCMS [0] <- enable
App Sub MFPA <- enable
I'm getting a good speed also without any other packs it always in the range of 4 to 5 mbps

Sir can u please give a step by step explanation of how u did this , sorry new to this dfs tool and also which exact model of motorola. Is the phone mentioned Motorola DROID MAXX XT1080M - 32 GB - CDMA/GSM 2 GB Ram? . Will MTS call and data work on it. Please help

If I get a new CDMA sim, can I use it to connect to Rev.B (if phone and local network support Rev. B ) ? Do I need to ask for a specific type of SIM?

Is there a possibility that connection will be limited to Rev.A (even if phone and local network support Rev. B ) ?

I am in Gurgaon. Looking for other users.

In NCR Rev B can not be used on sim, you need to buy pro dongle to get Rev B.

Unlocked EvDO Rev B dongles are available in the market.

I have tried these settings in Pune Hinjewadi area. The network type shows as Rev B but the speed are lower than Rev A. Can someone please tell me what's missing here?

I have even raised queries to people who have successfully done the DFS setting change on the Droid Maxx.

Someone with knowledge on this can pls confirm process.

Hi sorry for the late replay I'm the person , who did rev B unlock in droid maxx , and I tried in pune near railway station , shivaji Nagar and kalyani Nagar and I got a stable speed of above 3- 5mb/s without any packs only the process I did , I already explained , last day the same I did on my droid turbo too , and also got the stable speed , one thing both phones are rooted and running custom roms .. Don't know this make any difference or not..

I have had the same experience as well.

Now-a-days, I use the Reliance SIM in a EC315 dongle. I cannot see if it is Rev.A or Rev.B on that.

The maximum speed i have see in around 1 Mbps on the terrace.

If we can get an idea about the ruim used by the people getting rev b and also from the people who are not getting it, in rev b enabled areas, we would know if it's related to the ruim series or not.

Maybe newer ruims have newer prls? I'm just wondering if evdo rev b works with newer ruims.

Is there a way to update prl on ruim? *228 requires a 9 digit pin and therefore we can't do ota programming.

Hope people with more knowledge would guide us.
