RIM-JPR 2 Report post Posted September 6, 2014 Dear Gurus I recently upgraded my verizon s3 with sprint note 3 SIM based. Everything like SMS, VOICE & DATA (EVDO&1x) works fine. I have a problem with it. There is no tethering & hotspot switch in menu/connections. Ihave checked everywhere in phone but no option for hotspot. I have rooted & downloaded foxfi but when i start hotpot through it, it says hotspot not supported. I searched on xda, but unable to find any solution? Pls see screenshots attached for details about OS & other settings. Thanks

joshm 818 Report post Posted November 12, 2014 There is supposed to be a flash able zip file from kitkat killer maker josh of xda for 4.4.2 deodexed Nc5 I am not able find the file.I dunno but I have tried all kinds of flashable zips for the native Hotspot but haven't been able to get the wifi Hotspot option to be displayed .The best is using wifi tether router app . It does all if you are rooted no headache , just some quick battery drain . That's all . Sent from my NOTE 3 .. size does matter .......
