KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted December 9, 2014 For contacts sync with Google, you need not do anything but making sure that they are synced with Google servers in old phone. For sms use sms backup and restore app from playstore. There is another such app for Whatsapp, or even there is an option to backup chats in Whatsapp too. I stopped using whatsapp on MI3.2. I copied whatsapp folder from MI3 to 1+1 at the same location.3. I installed whatsapp on 1+1.4. On launching after validation process it picked up the backup and I cansee the messages. The issue I am facing is it is showing messages only till November, 22 and nottill today's date. I again took backup, deleted the whatsapp folder from 1+1 and moved the whatsapp folder to 1+1 deleted all files from datastore folder except the last backup file. ACS 130 Report post Posted January 10, 2015 Apart from Contacts (pretty obvious that a google account helps here), there's an app called "Copy my Data" in play store that helps the new phone communicate with your old, through the same Wifi network & you can selectively copy - Contacts, photos, videos & calendar.
