Earlier I was using Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Requirements: 1. Smaller handset (preferably 4.3" or lower) 2. Android 3. 2 GB Ram 4. Can withstand daily usage. 5. sd card slot (preferred, but can do without as well) 6. GSM 7. Supports call recording Additional details: 1. budget - no issues 2. preference for Camera - no high preference (Anything is fine, low quality is also ok) 3. battery - should last at least a day with heavy usage on wifi, mails 4. Brand preference - No preference 5. warranty - No preference. Imported models are ok as well 6. size - 4.3" 7. primary usage - mails, wifi, calling and messaging, recording Kindly suggest me best options. Only DroidMAXX has developer edition phones and NO for Droid Mini... Sunshine BL Unlock method also needs the phone to be rooted earlier... Simply put, buying DroidMINI with BL unlocked earlier or running JB 4.2 is the option, which is as good as finding unicorn, imho... Only downside is that you have to root after each reboot, which is just a click of a button, shouldnt be a major issue. Just FYI, Call recording is illegal in US, most of the US phones have call recording locked at kernel level etc, so regular apps dont work on imported handsets. PS: KD and Baba ji ki Jai. Droid mini looks great and fits nicely but as you said call recording would be an issue...
