niket 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2004 well, then it seems that samsung supports data only over brew!! It may be true, because all your code for RD2030 works on my phone expect one. Following code always instantly turn off my phone. AT$QCDMG When i used Bitpim on my phone. same happens when i start to browse file system in bitpim (i.e phone turn off instantly) Today I downloaded CVS Source of Bitpim. hope that i will find out way to make my phone work of Bitpim. Here all LG phone users change their ringtones, wallpaper, pc sync but poor guy like me can't do that...
StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted March 28, 2004 i'll check and see what i can do... but at$qcdmg is used to bring the phone into BREW mode.. and here u say that it turns ur phone off... so there must be another command for bringing it into BREW mode... Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted April 16, 2004 Connect to the port to which your handset is connected... You can do that using Hypertimnal which comes along with your windows.. You can find that in Start > Programs > Accessories > Communication After getting the program connected to your phone, type in these commands..
StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted April 19, 2004 hey guys it seems... that at#pmode=1 will set the samsung phone in BREW mode... and then maybe it can be used normally with bitpim!!!

Ashokjp 15 Report post Posted April 19, 2004 Hey niket, you got samsung na.. Try entering the command (at#pmode=1) given by static using Hyperterminal connected to your phone.. Then if it returns OK, open Bitpim and try accessing the file structure
niket 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2004 Not works.. at#pmode=1 returns error. this code doesn't exist for N191. because at#pmode? and at#pmode=? also not works.
