KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted June 7, 2015 Almost all latest high end GSM handsets supports 3G on 900MHz.. Rarely few handsets miss this frequency, like Lenovo A6000.. Some very very old phones like Symbian NON-TOUCH phones prior to N series / E series may not support this 3G band..
commonman 228 Report post Posted June 7, 2015 What about budget smart phones and local rebranding like Micromax and Xolo. They all support 2G on 900 Mhz. But do they support 3G on 900 Mhz also?
Venkatagiri 53 Report post Posted June 8, 2015 If efficiency is the word then a reshuffling is required in the bands to accomodate 3G and 4G 700 MHz analog cable 800 MHz CDMA 900 MHz GSM
vakharia 23 Report post Posted June 12, 2015 Is there someone who has subscribed to this? I wonder if they are really seeing any improvement in the indoor signal strength due to the lower frequency. Any personal experiences from the folks in Kolkata?
