lostjournal 7 Report post Posted June 24, 2015 Hi, I want to purchase a CDMA based smart phone. I was hoping to get some help using my iphone 6 (A1586) on a CDMA network in India. But it seems nobody has cracked that as yet. Meanwhile, I want to purchase an LG Tribute or Moto E from Ebay GEB. But not sure which model will work out of the box. So any link will be helpful. I understand that Moto E Verizon works out of the box but what about Boost model. Also, are there other alternatives to Moto E / LG Tribute. I dont want to spend more than 6K. Guru Gopal 589 Report post Posted June 24, 2015 LG G3 (US cellular) both works out of box for any CDMA. No need do any thing. (GSM will not work on this Phone). Bigger screen, more ram and fast processor, and decent cam with NFC and IR. Though it is pricy but worth. If you upgrade to lollypop you will get even guest mode profile also. Is it that their RUIM tech is old . Same also goes for Datacards , after ZTE AC2766 there has been no working datacards . Guru Gopal 589 Report post Posted June 25, 2015 BSNL evdo Bsnl cdma. I got this info from one un know person. I want to share here. If you have taken a 40rs RUIM, you need to disable MEID authentication to even detect the sim if you have taken a 350rs proper evdo plan, it will connect to CDMA 1x, once you disable MEID authentication, it will give evdo access for sure to disable MEID authentication, you just need to call / email to an SDE in CDMA Let everybody know if it works Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The exact price I paid is INR 2901. But for others - it may be 4500 which is again not bad. That listing ended.
